Statement: An exploration of Online Movements peaked my interest in Dudeism. This paper discusses the cultural aspects of dudeism and the other qualities that make it a fully socialized online movement. In general, I think the idea of a religion sprouting from a movie is ridiculous. However, there does seem to be a certain amount of wisdom in the minimalist lifestyle that Dudeism preaches.
